Jonathan is a Master of Public Health student at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health in the Population and Family Health Department, with a certificate in Biostatistics. His research experience spans HIV, COVID-19, diabetes, and humanitarian health, including work on latent HIV reservoirs, COVID-19 testing and vaccine regimens, and diabetes research in Vietnamese communities focused on reevaluating existing screening and assessment tools. He also works with Sport Coach+, a humanitarian intervention integrating mental health and sport to support youth affected by displacement. In his free time, he enjoys reading, going to the beach when back in Southern California, and exploring new restaurants.
