Ivy Petsinger

Student Research Worker

Biography

Ivy Petsinger joined the CPC Learning Network as a Student Researcher in January 2026. She is an MD/MPH candidate at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in the Department of Population and Family Health and at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She plans to pursue residency training in psychiatry, with potential focuses on adolescent and global mental health. Ivy previously was a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania. She has experience in medical education research focused on intimate partner violence and has engaged in global health fieldwork in Eswatini with The Luke Commission, as well as with refugee communities in Ohio. In her free time, Ivy enjoys dancing (especially tap), spending time outdoors, traveling, and being with friends, family, and her dog.
