Emma Morris

Student Research Worker

Biography

Emma joined the CPC learning network as a Student Researcher in January 2026. She is a student at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health in the Population and Family Health Department with a certificate in Public Health and Humanitarian Action. She is passionate about community-led public health interventions and research in humanitarian settings. For her APEx, Emma worked with non-profit organization Roots of Health in the Philippines on a project analyzing trends in contraceptive use. Prior to starting at Mailman, Emma taught high school English in Korea and worked for international non-profit, Operation Smile in Student Programs. In her free time, she loves travel, yoga, movies, and spending time at the beach.
